Whether you’re visiting us for NHS care, private treatment, or a specialist referral, we’re committed to making your experience comfortable, transparent, and stress-free from the very beginning.

At Croydon Dental Practice, we welcome new adult and child patients for both general and orthodontic services — including Invisalign®, AddaSmile, braces, cosmetic dentistry, and routine check-ups.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

From the moment you walk in, our friendly reception team will greet you and help guide you through the process.

Here’s what your first visit typically includes:

Warm Welcome & Registration
Fill out your medical history form (online or in-clinic) so we can tailor your care safely and accurately.
Full Dental Examination
One of our dentists will carry out a thorough check of your teeth, gums, and oral health. X-rays may be taken if needed.
Treatment Planning
We’ll explain everything clearly, answer your questions, and recommend a treatment plan if any care is needed.
Payment & Booking Follow-Up Visits
We’ll go over pricing (NHS or private) and help you arrange your next steps.

What to Bring With You

Please bring the following to your first appointment:

A valid photo ID (passport or driver’s license)
Your NHS number (if you’re registering as an NHS patient)
A list of any medications you’re taking
Proof of exemption (if you’re entitled to free NHS care)
Completed medical history form (or fill it in at reception)

NHS & Private Options Available

We accept both NHS and private patients. You can choose to have some treatments on the NHS and others privately (such as teeth whitening or Invisalign).

Our team will always explain what’s included under NHS care and what may be private, so you’re never left guessing.

Payment & Finance

NHS pricing follows national band charges
Private treatments are fully explained in writing
We offer 0% finance for many private services (orthodontics, implants, cosmetic care)
All major debit/credit cards accepted
